But the big winner of the day was Force India, with Giancarlo Fisichella taking his car to an astonishing second place. Starting from pole, Fisichella was blitzed down the long straight by Raikkonen’s KERS, but managed to hustle the tail of the Ferrari to the end, finishing just 0.9 seconds adrift at the end.
